This is a classic authentic antique Navajo squash blossom necklace with great character and quality - circa 1940's. It hosts 148 silver beads & 20 pieces of blue green turquoise. The stones are varying shades of blue and green, and obviously they have changed over time, making them natural turquoise.
I can't say for sure which American mine the turquoise is from, but he character of each stone is unique and beautiful. The stones are surrounded by flat handmade bezels and the oval around the stones are stamped. The design is finished off with a small raindrop where the blossom begins. This is a simple and beautiful design. The center Naja at the bottom has 6 turquoise stones of varying size.Artist: Authentic Navajo antique - unsigned. Tip to Tip 31 1/2.
Naja 3 1/2" high x 3" wide. Materials: Sterling silver and turquoise. Condition: No cracked stones - no split beads - all stones secure in bezels - one stone in Naja slightly recessed - No visible defects - great for age.
